How I had the inspiration for the book "Echoes of the Gods, The Greek myths of the 12 signs and the historical journey of astrology"

My fascination with astrology and celestial phenomena began in an unusual way, as it was sparked by my love for Greek mythology and its legends. Being Greek, I was immersed in these ancient stories of heroes, gods and demigods, both at school and in my family. As I progressed in my education in ancient Greek history in school, I began to see connections between these myths and the written and artistic creations of ancient Greek scholars, historians and creators - writers and artists.

I discovered that many, if not all, of these individuals had a deep understanding of both astronomy and astrology, which at the time were inseparable sciences. They held the secrets of the heavens, the truths of cosmogony, the rules, and the "instructions for life" within their grasp. This realization filled me with excitement, as each new truth or piece of knowledge directed me to delve deeper into the philosophy of astrology—uncovering its roots, the legends that formed its interpretations, and the figures who shaped this knowledge throughout history.

My exploration had another important goal: to determine the functionality and validity of this methodology. Despite my keen interest in metaphysical inquiries and mystical methodologies, I remain firmly grounded in logic, relying on observations and statistical samples.

This journey has been long and enriching, beginning almost as early as elementary school where mythology first captivated me, and continuing to this day as I study human nature, behavior, and global developments through these methodologies.

I want to share this journey of observations, discoveries, personal experiences, and impressions with you, which inspired me to create the collection "Cosmic Alchemy."

The first edition, "Echoes of the Gods, The Greek myths of the 12 signs and the historical journey of astrology," is a summary of my wonderful journey through the history of Western astrology, its development around the world, and references to those I consider pivotal in its journey from ancient times to today. Of course, much more has been written and will continue to be written on this topic, but I hope this book will mark the start of your own journey of study and discovery.

I believe astrology enthusiasts, as well as lovers of Greek mythology and the legends associated with the twelve zodiac signs, will find joy in this book. Although it is concise, it is densely packed with knowledge and richly illustrated, ensuring it will be a valuable addition to your library.
