In Greek mythology, Amalthea was the divine nymph who raised Zeus himself — hiding him in the sacred Idaean Cave on Mount Psiloritis in Crete, feeding him milk and honey, and protecting him from his father Cronus. Her horn became the legendary Cornucopia — the Horn of Plenty — the eternal symbol of abundance, joy, and all good things overflowing.
