Because long before it appeared on greeting cards and holiday tablecloths, the Cornucopia had a story. In Greek mythology, Amalthea was the divine nymph who raised Zeus himself — hiding him in the sacred Idaean Cave on Mount Psiloritis in Crete, feeding him milk and honey, and protecting him from his father Cronus. Her horn — the Keras Amaltheias — became the legendary Cornucopia, the Horn of Plenty: a symbol of endless abundance, overflowing with every good thing the earth could offer. It is one of the oldest and most enduring symbols in Western civilization — and it was born in Crete, thousands of years before the first Thanksgiving.

The great painters of the Dutch and Flemish Golden Age knew this. They painted the Cornucopia again and again — overflowing with fruit, with flowers, with the glorious excess of a world in full harvest. This sticker is a tribute to that tradition: small in size, enormous in feeling. 🌟
